Organizing Committee

We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 4th Midwinter Conference (MWC) ‘Advances in Immunobiology’, which will take place from 20 - 24 January, 2024 in Seefeld (Tyrol), Austria. The conference is co-organized by the DFG-funded Collaborative Research Centre 1054, the FWF-funded Special Research Programme F70 and the Association for the Advancement of Immunobiology, a registered non-profit organization. Featuring invited presentations from 25 internationally renowned speakers and a similar number of talks selected from abstracts as well as two poster sessions, the MWC 2024 will cover topics ranging from basic aspects of lymphocyte development and immune regulation to immune mediated diseases, cancer and therapeutic concepts. With an anticipated number of around 200 participants, we aim to keep this event ‘small enough’ to foster a lively and informal exchange of ideas among scientists. The conference center is embedded in the beautiful mountain scenery of Tyrol, and Seefeld offers excellent alpine and cross-country skiing.

Harald von Boehmer was the conceptualist and founder of the MWC. In light of his passing and in honor of his fundamental contributions to the field of immunology, we have since renamed the congress the "Harald von Boehmer Midwinter Conference".
